I’m an award-winning journalist who spent more than a decade reporting for the Post-Tribune, Toledo Blade, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and I’m currently the founding editor of Capital B Gary, a startup nonprofit newsroom serving my hometown.

My years as a reporter sharpened my eye, my mind, and my instinct … shaping how I see, what I notice, and what I choose to capture.

As a photographer and visual storyteller, I’m driven by humanity—drawn to honest, raw moments that show the truth and texture of everyday life. My work focuses on people and place, showing beauty and truth in the ordinary.
